A Letter we received from Aditri Taneja Student of DPS Faridabad
Fun In Nature’s School

I went to a camp organised by FINS i.e. Fun in Nature’s School. Owner-Mr. Rahul Chutani

  • Day One
 I woke up at 5’am, got ready and went to the bus stop. After everyone came, we said goodbye to our parents and started our journey. On the way, sir told us many amazing things and I played and enjoyed with my cousin and friends. We had breakfast at a hotel named Oasis. Our Destination was Carman School near Dehradun. After we had reached there, we had lunch, fresh ‘n’ upped, did some exercises and some activities. Then we took a bath. There were four teams in which we would do all the team work activities. So after bathing we were divided into four teams i.e. Dolphins, Penguins, Salmons and Whales. I was in Dolphins. Then we had dinner and slept.
  • Day Two
  We woke up at 6: am and did some exercises. After that we did an activity. We had to walk on a rope. Then we had breakfast and went for trekking. Then we learnt about finding directions and learnt tying Knots in ropes. Then we had lunch and did swimming. Then we did rock climbing. Then we watched a movie on wildlife. Then we again learnt about finding directions. Then we watched the stars. Then we had a bonfire and sang, danced, enjoyed and had our dinner. Then we danced a lot and slept.
  • Day Three
 We woke up at 6: am and went for river crossing. Then we made sand models. Then we had a bath and had breakfast. Then boys went for crossing Burma Bridge  and girls  made tents and maggi. While making maggi it started raining so we had to stop making maggi. All the boys had crossed the Burma bridge so when it stopped raining it was decided that now the girls will cross Burma bridge and the boys will make maggi. Then it again started raining so all girls cannot cross the bridge but I did it. Then we had lunch and went back home. It was a nice journey.

I learnt two things in the camp, one, to be disciplined and two if we think we can, then we can definitely do whatever we want
